In and Around the 1st Arrondissement

For those who haven’t been to Paris, the city is broken up by around 18 neighborhoods called arrondissements. I’m staying in the 1st. We dropped our bags and the owner of the apt cleaned a bit while we walked around the neighborhood

A friend wanted to get stuffed in my suitcase but we figured that wouldn’t work out so well. Instead she sent a photo and kindly asked if she could join me in various places in Paris. Here is molly riding the subway from the airport with me.

Bike rental stations throughout the city.

observing the lovers carvings along the Seine River

Yes, i’m going to come home with these tweed chucks.

Girlfriend and I really tried to rent one of those bikes but had a difficult time with the credit card process. Instead we opted to do a Segway Tour of the city. Awesome and I highly recommend if the weather lends itself.

That’s crazy dope King. Your capturing the scene real proper like. What’s it been like over there? How are the people, i’ve heard they can be snob’s. But I guess here in America we’re use to snobbery.

Oh Mr King, how you turn my jokes into reality. I hope I get to go to even more exciting places in Paris…not that the subway ride wasn’t amazing. I should have sent pictures of different clothes so you could dress me every day. A girl has to look good in Paris, you know.

sonya-feel free to post as many ‘molly is funny’ comments you like. you are my new favorite.

Bonjour BK! The 1st is an amazing place to be! Plus, you’re close to the 7th (my old hood, he he, er . . . I wish) and the Latin Quarter. Can’t wait to see where else your lens leads you!

    Hey Bro,

Just wanted to say, that I love your pictures. They’re great. I love all your sites, especially the “our own business one and the “as seen through my eyes one. I checked out your vids, and you say you been to Japan. I was there for about 12 months in Toyama. Which is near Kanazawa, which is near Nagano. I went to the Ninja temple in Kanazawa, it was cool.
