Not for nuthin right, but you live in the Stuy, yes?
Give it a couple of weeks and call that joint TOOK (unless you put a fat lock on it). And it won’t be the brothers either - more likely someone from the Brigade-o-Gentrifiers or maybe that guy who did that website stuffwhitepeoplelike.
Nothing personal - you’re my photography hero for real - and I got your back. Just not sure Central Brooklyn is ready for a bro on a Vespa.
It is sharp! I saw the other picture. I feel better: Helmet, insurance, class on safety, Loren does not ride. By the way your cousin graduated to a minivan for his children LOL. Well, now he is back in a sportier Mercedes. Go for it BK! If I were younger, or had the nerve..,but for right now I am going to hop on my Trek and ride the bike trail to Yellow Springs…,with my helmut.
Maria is another suggestion

I have to disagree (of course, right?). You are right, my hood is looking more and more like williamsburg than biggie’s old bed-stuy and myrtle ave known as murder ave is long gone. But i’ve talked to a few folks and vespa’s getting stolen isn’t as common as (seemingly everyone with out one) thinks. Home girl that sold it to me used to live in Philly and she was much more concerned there than in the city.
To take it you are going to have to pick it up and put it on a truck (the steering wheel locks to the left so you can’t just roll it away) two, you have to figure out the matching electric key code. I’m not sure how technically able the brigade-o-gentrifiers are. Also, I’m sure know one is stealing it for parts. If a vespa is stolen in the hood, it is most likely a vintage variety and not locked up with that giant chain i bought. I would say i’m more concerned about coming out and finding it pooped on by birds or knocked over from a car bumping into it (but both of those are guaranteed to happen, right)
Like my boy said, “i ain’t never scared, i ain’t never scared” ha. I’m just doing my part to push bro’s on vespas a more common sighting. Speaking of, I did see one near my hood (in ft. greene) on my way to get yesterday).
If anything does go down with me and my hipster gangsters ill make sure I’ll holler at you. Bring the boom box with pop music and i’m sure that will scare them away.
Thanks for the complements and the old plastic tape holder is a pretty dope idea. I may have to steal it.
I say Nadine is good! haha. Or Estelle, in keeping w/ the above from Jes. Could be shortened Ella, Stella or Elle. Nadine could be shortened to Dee Dee, Nay Nay or Dean? But please don’t go with your idea of Nay Nasty…ha!
Ok, so check this out…I’ll be the first to admit that I have actually had thoughts in the past about purchasing a Vespa especially for how difficult it is at times to find parking in BK or NYC for that matter. But the only qualm I had was that you’ll have limited use year around because of the winter weather here. Bug other than that, great purchase BK!

You definitely need an Italian name!
Let’s brainstorm: graziella, alessia, raffaella, eleonora, speranza (=hope), elena, elisabetta, federica, sophia, alessandra, alisea, bruna, brunetta, chiara, vittoria, stella, oriana, nuvoletta (small cloud), lucetta, fiorella…
I’d go for nuvoletta because it indicates something small in a big city which produces only little emissions!

Vespas most definitely equal Italia. I second the Italian name bandwagon.

She looks like Nico. All black eyeliner and chrome bangs.
Very Cool, I am going to throw in a few exotic names: Adriana, Bianca, Gianna…Italian girls.
i’m almost too jealous to leave any suggestions.
i like Tyler’s “Gianna” suggestion. you’re also welcome to use one of “MY” baby names: Jolie
I like Sophie also. Jes’ “Stella” suggestion is also pretty ace, and my coworker suggested “Brigitte.”
Kent, you know I was thinking about getting red just cause if the old Honda joint!
Thanks everyone for the suggestions…I think i got my name now.
I like the names some ppl dropped.
Bella is my fave.. thus far.
