Me as the Wedding Photographer

I like shooting weddings but it has to meet a few criteria:

1. I get to fly to another time zone/climate change
2. bride or groom is either you or your brother or sister (you = someone I’veknown for at least a year prior to asking me to shoot the wedding)
3. I know you well enough to party with you
4. There is an open bar
5. There is no rush/pressure on when you want your photos

I can make up more is i see fit.

Comron and Carrie met all the above requirements and they are just two pretty awesome folks. View the full post to see a little set of photos from the shoot:

The one of Sonya and Blazey is one of my favorites out of the bunch. I also really dig the black and white shot of the bottom of her dress with the cast away shoe. Well done.

Oh wait, I think you are missing one. Oh yes, you know the one I am talking about. Come on, BK, show the people.

you aren’t making it any easier for me not to want you to shoot my wedding.

you are seriously amazing at capturing the essence of people and the essence of the moment all while doing so with an amazing style that you have grown into.

    BK,

you are top score. not only are you a friend, you happen to be the best photographer i’ve ever seen. you are the person that made me realize that it’s the person taking the photos, not the camera (even though the camera helps). we are in your debt forever for being such a friend, and if you need some missiles for your wedding (or guitar amps out of cigar boxes)… just let me know.

    Thanks a million,
    -The happy couple

    It was a blast

Jorege, I’ve shot about 4 or 5 wedding so far. The last one was in St. Thomas which was pretty amazing.

Blazey, you get me some remotes and about 4 cameras and hook it up. The first person to shoot the wedding and be in it!

nah, actually i would rather shoot it rather than be in it. it will make it easier to choose your best man. just make sure it isn’t in Ohio or Kentucky and i got you.
