speaking of, can i quickly talk about race?. i hope all you kids realize how big this election is for me and so many other black males in the usa. i looked at a photo today and was touched like i’ve never been before (link - they were looking at obama) ok, that is it.

Blazey and I dragged aileen from Cincinnati to come hang with a bunch of NYC kids in Woodstock this weekend.

I started this other blog about a month ago to collect a bunch of things I want to buy. Instead of just putting out ridiculously priced things and places and homes and cars i figured it would be fun to just post things that were accessible to me. As in, not totally out of my price ranges if i really wanted it and not so obscure or in such limited edition there is no way anyone could get it. *cough* hypbeast, mr. west, highsnobriety *cough*

Last week I headed back over to Ohio to shoot some images for Capital University. Ologie is working on the new admissions materials (view book, website, etc). They are pretty much the average unforced college campus shots. The alternative being ultra staged, multi-cultural we all are having the best time of our lives photos. This first shoot was mostly lifestyle / documentary in nature. the next shoot will have very specific art direction around it. so, more to come. These are just a few quick selections.

I bought two pre-autographed copies of her record last week. The last red record I had (or ebony had) was Salt N Peppa’s ‘Push It’ single. Although it was more burgundy than red if i remember correctly. The record player is a little thing i found on ebay this past Friday.

oh, while i’m here, i guess i could use this forum to complain about her official Many Moons video not being posted online in higher quality i.e. HD resolution. I’m extremely upset at that. She has done such a great job with her visuals and to present her first video in some janky youtube/onsmash set up is all the way wrong. I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t or can’t be done. Please, someone close to the wondaland camp mention this to her or set me straight and tell me why that is an impossible thing to do. Thanks

From the same folks that brought us the ‘people white people like‘ party a few months back had another little house party all about the monkeys (i have no idea why). I’m gonig to miss stacey when she heads off to the west coast. she and kelly are the best hostesses.
