He's Kind of a Big Deal...
Things I do at work
Last week we had the first of several photoshoots to establish a photo library for one of ologie's clients. Me and another photographer shot while everyone else ran around figuring out the sets.
renting profotos ain't cheap.
Above is Alex (client) and my creative director, Anthony. You can see he stole my watch.

I'm a window shopper
B, your a internet dreamer, on Firefox looking at things you can't buy... I started this other blog about a month ago to collect a bunch of things I want to buy. Instead of just putting out ridiculously priced things and places and homes and cars i figured it would be fun to just post things that were accessible to me. As in, not totally out of my price ranges if i really wanted it and not so obscure or in such limited edition there is no way anyone could get it. *cough* hypbeast, mr. west, highsnobriety *cough*
here is a sampling of what is over at hewants.tumblr.com:
Shooting Capital
Last week I headed back over to Ohio to shoot some images for Capital University. Ologie is working on the new admissions materials (view book, website, etc). They are pretty much the average unforced college campus shots. The alternative being ultra staged, multi-cultural we all are having the best time of our lives photos. This first shoot was mostly lifestyle / documentary in nature. the next shoot will have very specific art direction around it. so, more to come. These are just a few quick selections.
Celebrate!
My friend Miguel Perez puts on and host a breast cancer awareness fundraiser at COSI in Columbus annually. I told him i would shoot the even long before my little knee injury. Although i couldn't be my normal rip and run self i still pulled out a few decent shots.

Chasing The Girl
This is my current favorite tag around Brooklyn. Holler at me if you see any of them – there are about 3 or 4 others that i've not been able to shoot yet)
Also, I'm feeling this Diplo remix of Legend's Green Light [download] : [audio:Green-Diplo.mp3]
Loren
We used to call him Little Loren.
Happy Birthday little bro. We're gonna have a little house party for him this Saturday. Come past the house if you are in town.
(sorry, no photobooth or keg stands this time)
Short walk around DUMBO
Most of you know what the inside of our office looks so today I decided to take my camera outside and shoot some things to and from lunch.
Miho's 2nd Visit
Miho was one of the first portraits i posted on this blog. For some reason i get about 100 spam comments a day on that post, it's hard to battle. She is in the states for a friend's wedding in LA. She says they married (and already had a baby) because of me. Ha! not so sure that is the case, but it is cool anyway. He met his wife the night she gathered a bunch of friends and all went out for karaoke for my visit.
thanks for stopping by the office, miho.

I figured we deserve a slightly different tone in our photos:

Knee injury update:Still don't know what is wrong. MRI in a few weeks, orthopeadic surgen shortly after. Limping, crutches, and taxi rides till further notice.
This is not a proper introduction of our new office mate, Caitlin. Something better will follow.
me. me. me.
i need to see some friends so i can put up photos of them.
The Balcony Project
Mari happened upon a nice little portrait project titled The Balcony Project. It may be the best way to save money and hang with friends ever. People come over to her place with a bottle of wine/liquour and they sit and talk, one on one, while she takes a few snaps of them. She gets to stay home catch up with old friends, get to know new ones a bit better all while drinking for free. This is my portrait from friday night:

About Mari's influence:
Mari inspired us to not forget that we are moving to NYC. See, Blazey and I made plans to move to new york after a year of being roommates in columbus (2004) but within the first 6 months things got comfortable and we were less focused on getting out. Well, Mari comes along and starts talking about New York this and New York That. Just about the same time I head to the city with Fitch for a video project and immediately remember that Blazey and I have no choice, we have to go. Seeing mari pick up and go made it easier for us to realize we can do it as well.
Once mari was here she became the most valubal reasourse we had. We chatted on line all the time. Blazey and I's first visit to nyc together was a random last minute friday afternoon decision to drive up with a friend from cleveland (photo gallery of the trip). That was the trip that got us both back on board and 3 months later we packed up and headed east. The rest is history documented on flickr.
More random things about mari and moving to nyc

Morning with Ella
I picked up a couple pairs of kicks in Chicago this weekend. These here are yet another pair of chucks i shot while riding to work. I was going for this pair of all silver hi-tops at a place in Hyde Park called Akira but I was a bit too late and they were completely out of my size. ps. i need some serious programing help with my blog. i have a new idea brewing but i can't seem to make it work.
